Zones

One of the most important sections of the system. In this section, the system administrator can create divisions, draw zones, divide countries into cities, and so on. Subsequently, these divisions and zones are used when setting special prices, calculating the cost of orders, and determining the areas where the company operates.

Advice: Create separate divisions for each individual country instead of trying to merge many different countries into one division. This can be inconvenient for administering zones later on.

When you click on the list icon , a list of all added divisions will open. At the top of the list, there is a search field to make it easier to find the desired division. By clicking on the eye icon , the selected division will be displayed on the map.

To add a new work zone (division), you need to use the "Drawing" tool . This tool allows you to draw a new division.

After connecting all the points, the system will automatically highlight the selected area in red. Following that, it can be saved as a new division. If you make a mistake while drawing the area, do not worry, click on the cross icon and try again.

After clicking on the "Save" button, the system will ask you to name the new division.

After a successful save, your new division will appear at the end of the list of all available divisions.

Additionally, by utilizing the pencil and trash can icons , you can rename or delete the division.

Important: A division can only be deleted if it contains no added zones, taxi companies, drivers, or orders. Otherwise, the system will prevent you from deleting the division. Therefore, ensure that you have successfully removed all data associated with the division to be deleted.

To navigate to the list of zones for a specific division, you must first select the division. Then, at the top of the list, switch from the "List of Divisions" tab to the "List of Zones" tab.

After switching to the tab with the list of zones, you will see a list of available zones for the selected division.

The principle of creating and drawing zones is similar to the creation of divisions. You will also need to draw a new zone within a division, name it, and save it.

After saving, a new zone will appear in the list of all zones for the selected division.

Note: Sometimes, zones may overlap or intersect. For such cases, there is a prioritization (Order) when setting special prices for vehicles..

From this moment, it is possible to work with the given division and zone, including adding taxi companies, drivers, car classes, configuring special prices, etc.

Important: Simply adding a division and zones is not sufficient to start accepting orders in a given work zone. To start accepting orders, you must also add vehicle classes for the division, set prices for them, add at least one taxi company, select the vehicles supported by this taxi company, and add a driver. Only after these steps can you begin to accept orders in this division.
