Shared taxi

Shared Taxi Settings

This section offers customers the ability to combine their trips with others, thereby saving money. Customers agree to share a ride, and upon meeting all conditions, the system will merge their trips into one, with each customer receiving a discount on their trip.

Important: To combine two or more trips, three conditions must be met:

  1. Clients have consented to combining the trip;

  2. Date/time and pickup addresses are within an acceptable range;

  3. The drop-off location is within an acceptable range.

Let's take a closer look at the available settings:

Show section before start — Section with a list of available cars for combining trips. This setting specifies the time (in hours) before the start of the booking when this section will become available to clients.

Show section before until — This setting specifies the time (in hours) before the start of the order when this section will become unavailable to customers.

Time difference (min) — Time Limit Between Orders (in minutes): If the time difference between the start of orders exceeds the specified limit, the system will not be able to merge them.

Distance difference (km) — The system imposes a limitation on the distance (in kilometers) between the start points of orders. If the distance difference between the starting points exceeds the specified limit, the system will not be able to combine them.

Distance difference to route (km) — The difference between the route being taken and the pickup point of the second passenger. This setting is used in cases where the second passenger can be picked up along the route of the first passenger's order.

Shared taxi discounts — When passengers combine their trips, they can receive a discount. The details of these combined trip discounts are as follows:

  • Number of Combined Orders: The specific number of trips that need to be combined to qualify for the discount.

  • Discount: Can be a percentage (%) off the total fare or a fixed amount.

Note: When selecting the Shared Taxi service, the only available payment method will be cash.

Companies

Settings for Punishments and Rewards for Companies

In the main system settings (Settings -> Companies), you can configure an automatic penalty system for taxi companies for a negative review or rewards for a positive review. As seen in the image above, if a taxi company receives a negative review (below 4 stars), the system automatically blocks the company for 1 hour, during which time the company will not receive any new orders. In the event of a positive rating (4 or more stars), the system automatically grants priority status to the company for a duration of 1 hour, and all new orders will be primarily directed to them. Only in the event of their refusal to take an order or if they do not respond, will the orders be redirected to other companies.

Mobile Apps

Links to Mobile Apps

In this section, the system administrator can specify links to mobile applications for clients and drivers, which will be displayed in their personal accounts as banners. By clicking on these banners, clients or drivers will be directed to the marketplace page for the application, where they can download and install it on their phones.

Localization

List of Available Languages

In this section, the system administrator can manage the available language versions in the system and choose which languages to make available to users and which not to.

Reviews

List of Additional Reviews Services

In this section, the system administrator can configure which additional evaluation services to show the customer after the order is completed.

How it works: after the order (trip) is completed, the system will ask the passenger to rate their trip within the system itself. For this, the client needs to access their order, and at the very bottom, a new block for rating will appear. Once the client rates their trip, and if their rating is 4 stars or higher, the system will display a pop-up window, where it will also suggest sharing their rating on external services (Google Business, Trustpilot, etc.).

If a customer's rating is below 4 stars, the system will not offer them the option to leave a review on external services.

To display a link to an external service in a popup window, you need to specify: the name of the service, upload its logo, add a link to the page, and specify the length of the image (the width will be automatically adjusted based on the set length).
